It is raining in northern California and with alot of the red grapes still on the vine, people are getting anxious! I am hearing that vineyard owners wait till the last moment to pick red grapes in order to pump up the wine sugars in the fruit. The white grapes are already picked. I heard from Marcus in St. Helena, Ca. last night. He said that pickers were frantically picking with the forecast of 1" of rain for Friday night. Woe to red wine lovers who love the Napa Valley wines. Rain causes the grapes to split and mold. I will keep you posted.
Um, I looked up 'Oephoria' on Wikipedia, and it wasn't there. So it doesn't exist. Until you go and make and entry for it, then you become a real boy.
But seriously, good work on the site so far. I'm proud to be on this bandwagon early, and look forward to becoming less ignorant about wine. Maybe.
